Rabbi Dr. William Plevan

Rabbi Dr. William Plevan is Assistant Professor of Contemporary Jewish Thought at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College and its 2023-24 Democracy Fellow. He writes and teaches on contemporary Jewish theology, ethics, and political thought. He currently serves as the Board Co-chair of T’ruah: The Rabbinic Call for Human Rights. He received rabbinical ordination from the Jewish Theological Seminary and a PhD in Religion from Princeton.
